The exam in brief
- 150 questions per level, closed book. Technologist up to 4 hours, Senior up to 6 hours. The standard is not allowed in the room.
- Pass: 74% overall and at least 50% in every section. Both conditions. The 78% figure you may see belongs to the older 2009 exam.
- ASME publishes the section weights. Technologist: Sections 3 to 6, 25%; datum reference frames, 20%; form, 5%; orientation, 5%; position, 25%; profile, 15%; runout, 5%. Senior puts 30% on datum reference frames and 20% on profile.
- Concentricity and symmetry were deleted in 2018. Position, runout and profile do that work now. Material that still teaches them as live controls is out of date.

How access works
All paid items are online and view-only in your logged-in account. There are no files to download. Questions and drawings are served one at a time in the simulator, the drills and the question-bank reader. Every drawing and page carries your details. Accounts are for one person and cannot be shared; read the personal licence.
Why these questions are demanding
We do not claim they are harder than anyone else's, because you cannot check that. Here is what you can check.
- Drawing-based questions. A large share of the questions show a drawing or a feature control frame you must read to answer: datum letters, modifiers, basic dimensions, inspection data.
- Calculations with a judgement step. Bonus tolerance, virtual and resultant condition, actual position from x and y deviations, fastener formulas, profile zones, datum feature shift. Every number was recomputed in code.
- Written to Y14.5-2018. Deleted controls appear only as wrong options, explained as deleted.
- Every option is explained. Why the right answer is right and why each wrong one is wrong, with the arithmetic shown.
- Checked for repeats across the whole bank. A reworded copy, or the same question with new numbers, is blocked.
- Reviewed twice. Each batch is checked by a second reviewer who did not write it, against the standard, and every drawing against its question.
Who wrote it
Sandeep Bandyopadhyay. Twenty years as an aerospace structures engineer at Boeing, GE Aviation and Siemens Gamesa. The questions are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed against a written standard; Sandeep reviews the hardest of every batch.

Can I download or print the paid material?
No. Every paid item is online access, view-only, inside your logged-in account. Printing, copying and saving are disabled and each page carries your details.
Are these the real exam questions?
No. Every question is original. We do not use exam content and do not know the actual exam questions.
Will I pass if I finish everything?
We cannot promise that, and no honest provider can. The kit gives you realistic practice and an explanation for every option.
How many devices can I use?
Up to 2 active sessions per account, for your own use. A new sign-in ends your oldest session. Accounts are single-user and cannot be shared.
How long do I have access?
Access is lifetime: your purchase has no expiry date.
