How we handle reviews

Last updated 14 September 2026.

Who can review

Only a customer who has bought that bundle and finished at least one full test in it can review it. Both are checked against our records every time, not once at sign-up. Nobody else can submit a review — not us, not an affiliate, not a friend with a link. One review per customer per bundle, editable by the reviewer for 30 days.

Every review is read by a person

Nothing is published automatically. A review is read before it appears, and we publish critical ones — a page of five-star reviews is not information. We remove or hold back reviews only for a small set of reasons: personal attacks, anything that is not about the product, spam or links, attempts to publish exam content, and the same review submitted under different accounts. Rudeness is not one of the reasons.

When we reply to a review, the reply is labelled as ours and appears beneath the review. We do not edit a customer's words.

What the numbers mean

The average rating on a product page is calculated from published reviews only. We do not show an average until a bundle has at least 3 published reviews, because two opinions is not a score. The same rule applies to the rating data we mark up for search engines: it is emitted only for genuine, published reviews, and only above that threshold.

Incentivised reviews

We never publish an incentivised review without saying so. If a reviewer received the bundle free or at a discount in connection with reviewing it, the review carries a visible "Received a discount" label. We do not pay for reviews, we do not offer anything in exchange for a particular rating, and we do not trade a refund for a review being changed or withdrawn.

Asking for reviews

We email once, about a week after your first completed test, to ask for an honest review, and once more two weeks later if you have not. Then we stop. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. We ask everyone the same way, not only people we expect to be pleased.

What we show

A published review shows the first name the reviewer gave, the rating, the headline and comment, the month it was written, and a "Verified purchase" badge — which is true of every review, since no other kind exists here. It never shows an email address or anything about the reviewer's scores.

Something wrong?

If a review misrepresents the product, or you think one was left by someone who should not have been able to, email support@certcrafter.com and say which one.
