- The CQE exam has 175 multiple-choice questions, 160 scored and 15 unscored, in 5 hours 18 minutes, computer-based.
- It is open book: bound references only, and any non-programmable calculator without an alphabetic keyboard.
- Passing is a scaled score of 550 of 750; ASQ does not publish the raw number of correct answers needed.

All paid items are online and view-only in your logged-in account. There are no files to download. Questions are served one at a time in the mock exams, the drills and the question-bank reader; the study guide, formula sheet, tables and calculator guide open page by page in a reader. Every page carries your details. The exam allows your own bound notes: build them by hand as you study. Accounts are for one person and cannot be shared; read the personal licence.
Why these questions are demanding
We do not claim they are harder than anyone else's, because you cannot check that. Here is what you can check.
- Weighted like the exam. Every mock splits its 175 questions across the seven areas in the exam's own proportions, and every question carries its BoK code and the cognitive level ASQ states for that topic.
- Open-book realism. The exam rewards choosing the right method fast and executing it on a plain calculator. The questions give job data and ask for the decision or the number; the formula sheet and the tables are built to be bound and used.
- Every number computed. Each calculation question and each worked example is backed by a stored Python function; a validator recomputes every answer, checks that one option is right, that the correct option is not the longest, that the letters are spread, and that no two questions repeat a decision.
- Reviewed cold. A random 15% of every mock was answered by a reviewer who had not seen how the questions were written, and every disagreement was resolved before release.
- Every option explained. Why the right answer is right and why each wrong option tempts, in that scenario.

Sandeep Bandyopadhyay. Twenty years on engineering projects at Boeing, GE Aviation, Siemens Gamesa and ITER. The questions are drafted with AI assistance against the published 2022 Body of Knowledge; every number is recomputed in code and the statistical tables are computed for this kit.

Each mock has 175 questions, the real count including the 15 unscored ones, split across the seven areas exactly as the exam weights them, and timed at 5 hours 18 minutes. The result shows your percentage per area; ASQ reports only a scaled score, so the kit's readiness rule is its own: 75% in every area on two consecutive mocks.
Are these the real exam questions?
No. Every question is original. We do not use exam content, retired items or any prep book, and we do not know the actual exam questions.
Can I download or print the paid material?
No. Every paid item is online access, view-only, inside your logged-in account. Printing, copying and saving are disabled and each page carries your details. Build your bound exam references from the formula sheet and tables by hand as you study: the exam allows your own notes.
